Microsoft Xbox Crystal Limited Edition for collectors in Retro gaming collection, for retro gaming players and collectors on RetroPixl
RetroPixl Mascot Koi Boy

In Focus

The Microsoft Xbox Crystal Edition is a special variant of the original Xbox released in the early 2000s, distinguished by its transparent casing that exposes the console’s internal structure. It reflects a period when console design embraces visibility and industrial aesthetics as part of product identity. Collectors value the Crystal Edition for its limited regional releases and for visually highlighting the Xbox’s PC-inspired architecture in a way standard models do not.

Fun Fact: The Crystal Edition is among the few mainstream consoles to intentionally showcase internal components, turning hardware transparency into a design feature rather than a novelty.

Can I request more pictures of the product I am interested in?

Of course! If you’d like additional photos of a specific console, accessory or collectible, contact us using the form on the right and we’ll be happy to provide more images whenever possible. Our goal is to help you feel completely confident before purchasing a high-value collectible.

What are the S, A, and B grades?

Our grading system is inspired by Japanese standards and keeps things simple:

  • S-gradeBrand new, factory-sealed.
The rarest finds. Unopened, unused, often available as single units. Top-tier collector pieces.
  • A-gradeMint condition, complete-in-box.
Opened but preserved exceptionally well, fully inspected and tested, and almost indistinguishable from new.
  • B-gradeComplete-in-box in good condition.
Light signs of handling, fully functional, carefully evaluated, and ideal for players who want quality without collector-level pricing.

Why are S and A grades more expensive?

At RetroPixl, we only curate high-quality retro gaming consoles, accessories, and collectibles that serious collectors seek out, often for years. Our catalog includes brand-new sealed items (S-grade), mint complete-in-box pieces (A-grade), and carefully selected complete-in-box units in excellent condition (B-grade).

Brand new and sealed (S-grade), and mint (A-grade) items command higher prices due to their rarity and condition, especially for Japan-only releases.

B-grade items, while still complete and well preserved, offer a more accessible entry point into collecting or playing.

Every piece is sourced through trusted partners in Japan and vetted for authenticity, condition, and presentation. What you’re paying for is rarity, reliability, and peace of mind, whether you’re collecting at the very top or starting your journey.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Every order shipped from RetroPixl includes full tracking. As soon as your package leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow its journey until delivery.

The product I want is sold out, when will it be back in stock?

Because our products are rare and sourced in S-grade, A-grade, or B-grade condition, it’s difficult to predict when or if we’ll be able to restock the same item. Some pieces appear only once, and many disappear into private collections for years.

If you’re hunting something specific, you can use our Find It For Me service:

Just tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll search through our network of trusted partners and collectors across Japan and Asia. If the item exists, we’ll find it, grade it, and ship it to you.
