Game Boy Pocket Famitsu
Released in Japan in 1997, the Nintendo Game Boy Pocket Famitsu Model-F is a limited edition clear variant created in collaboration with Famitsu.
Based on the MGB-001 Game Boy Pocket, it features a transparent shell and a distinctive mirrored screen bezel marked with “GAME BOY pocket FAMITSU 1997 [MODEL-F].” For players, it delivers the slimmer, sharper Game Boy Pocket experience with full Game Boy cartridge compatibility. For collectors, it stands out as one of the more recognizable Japan-exclusive Game Boy Pocket variants, valued for its magazine tie-in, clear shell design, and limited production history.
