This version of the Saturn, released in 1995, is by far one of the rarest iteration of the console. The Hitachi Hi-Saturn is not just another branded Saturn.

This Hitachi model came complete with the Video CD card and karaoke unit and even has a fully new opening sequence.  Hitachi were selling it as an all-round Entertainment system that you could play games on, listen to music, watch your Video CDs and do a bit of karaoke. 

It was considered as a multi-media console considering the many uses possible with it.

Later, another version was released, the Hi-Saturn Navi, with which a separate screen could be attached to take advantage of the GPS, Karaoke, and car adapters.

These items are believed to have been produced at only a 2000 units. Needless to say, how rare they are and perfect for collectors. Back in 1995, the retail price was 1500 USD, which makes it the most expensive system of all times.
