Two models of the Regulation 7(or R7) have been resealed.

The first and most rare model was originally sold to Pachinko parlours for network play by using it as terminals, by means of a special Dream Passport 2. It came bundled with a matching controller, a sticker for the console lid (perhaps for the controller as well), instruction manuals, link cables and several prizes such as pouches and key chains. It’s also known as Mail Order Edition.

The second print was released to the public. Both came packaged in a black box and came bundled with a matching controller, standard Dream Passport 3, instruction manuals and link cables.

These models are collectibles and popular among Sega collectors and Dreamcast fans.
